Authentic Leadership Development-Maintaining High Performance

The purpose of Authentic Leadership Development is to enable participants to prepare themselves to become leaders of organizations as they embark on parts of personal leadership development. Authentic Leadership requires personal curiosity and reflection from participants, enabling them to think critically as well as personal openness and sharing discussions, leadership development groups and one-on-one sessions with our instructors. Leadership development concepts created and used in the course will be continuously applicable for participants and useful for the rest of their lives as they strive to be authentic leaders.

Course Learning Outcomes:

  • Participants will increase their knowledge of authentic leadership and how to revolutionize the world with authentic leadership
  • Participants will understand the purpose of their leadership and empower other leaders, while they are optimizing their leadership effectiveness.
  • Participants will understand their leadership journeys and their crucibles by reflecting upon and framing their life stories and experiences to date.
  • Participants will understand why leaders lose their way and the self-awareness needed to avoid derailment.
  • Participants will gain clarity about their leadership principles, values, and ethical boundaries, and how they will respond under pressure when challenged.
  • Participants will understand what is motivating them, both extrinsically and intrinsically, and to find leadership paths that will enable them to utilize their motivated capabilities.
  • Participants will explore how to build support teams and lead an integrated life.
  • Participants will participate fully in open, intimate small-group discussions about the reflective exercises they have completed on their own
  • Participants will create personal leadership development plans to guide them throughout their lives.
  • Make better use of your unique attributes to be a truly authentic leader.
