Emotional Intelligence
Emotional intelligence is a core trait of leadership. This program will enable participants to understand and develop the skills needed to foster emotionally intelligent leadership. Participants will explore how to perceive emotions in self and in others, to understand how emotions blend, unfold and influence cognition and behavior; to use emotions to facilitate thinking and to manage emotions in self and others.
Participants will broaden their horizons in leadership with a focus in learning their strengths and limitations. Participants will learn general leadership theories, necessary skills, key concepts, examples and ideas to build capacity in emotional intelligence. Participants will explore strategies to build emotional intelligence into strength and improve leadership performance in their personal lives and organizations.
